Founded in 2000 by Jack and Andrea Kessel, Allied Petrochemical is an independent provider of distillation and sulfonation services to customers in various energy & industrial end markets. Based in Alvin, Texas, Allied provides fuel blend stocks and chemical additives derived from recycled and manufactured feedstocks. With over 20+ years of operating history, Allied has established a highly regarded industry reputation and long-standing customer and vendor relationships. Our Facility Our facility sits on 64 acres and includes truck and rail access, office and warehouse space, as well as a laboratory and control room. Distillation Services and Sulfonation Reactions are performed in separate, dedicated processing areas for operations efficiency and safety. Each processing area has direct access to rail (capacity for 23 cars) and truck loading/unloading for optimized logistics. Jack Kessel CEO & Co-Founder Jack has 40+ years of chemical engineering and operations experience at various downstream and chemicals focused businesses. Jack is actively involved in all facets of Allied’s business, especially research & development. Josh Mosis Plant & Operations Manager Josh joined Allied in 2022 and brings 18+ years of petrochemical operations management experience from his time at INEOS Styrolution, Marathon Petroleum, and BP. Josh previously served in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant of Marines specializing in KC-130 Avionics systems for nine years. During his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his two daughters and fishing. Chris Petersen CFO Chris joined Allied in 2022 and brings 20+ years of energy finance, accounting, and corporate development experience from his previous roles at SCF Partners, Denham Capital, and Amegy Bank. Chris most recently served as an investment banking consultant for Parks Paton Hoepfl & Brown. During his free time, Chris enjoys raising his two daughters with his wife and skydiving. Tim Haggerty Director of Business Development Tim joined Allied in 2023 and brings 37 years of business development experience within the specialty chemical and contract manufacturing segments of the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. Tim earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University and worked for industry leaders such as Integrity BioChem, MFG Chemical, Shrieve Chemical, Halliburton, and Shell Chemical.
